There are several times every day that a thought crosses my mind that sounds something like this: "When I'm debt free..." I've realized there are SEVERAL things I would love to do when I'm debt free, when I can spend money and not feel guilty, when I know that I can afford to do something other's can't and when I will be living like no one else. I am so excited for that day.
Of course, there are big things I would love to do, like go on a family vacation, have a girls day w/ Natali, getting our hair and nails done.
Then there are the smaller things, like having a date w/ Steven. Or buying my mom a GREAT birthday present. Or buying my Tupperware at an actual Tupperware party, instead of Ebay, where it's much cheaper. (Okay, I'll probably still buy it on Ebay, but maybe I could afford to buy it at the party if I wanted to!) I could take Natali to Chuck E. Cheese more often, and maybe even, gasp, buy clothes for ME!!! (I always feel so guilty about buying stuff for me, so I am always wearing things that are the wrong size that I find at garage sales. Hey, I'm not trying to be a fashion model.) I would buy Steven the prettiest anenome that I could find for his saltwater tank, no matter how much it cost b/c when we buy stuff for his tank, it's always from the $10 and below section at the fish store. LOL
I'll probably be adding to my list of "debt free activities" b/c it's been on my mind a lot lately, so try not to get bored w/ it! :)
Anyways, we should be debt free by next Christmas! Maybe sooner, depending on how much work Steven has! WHOO HOOO!!!
I totally encourage everyone to read the Dave Ramsey books and STOP letting money control your life!!!
