Today is the day...

I am finally going back to the doctor today! At my last visit, I had EXTREMELY low iron and blood sugar. My doctor said if it doesn't go up any, they will be taking the baby early. I am not due until January 20th, so that will be about 7 weeks early! I REALLY hope everything is looking better! I have been taking iron supplements and have been resting w/ my feet up for about an hour everyday. Crossing my fingers that she doesn't want this baby here yet!
My appointment is at 1:30 and if everything goes okay, I plan on doing a little Christmas shopping while I"m in town! Say a little prayer for me! :)

UPDATE!!!!

Everything looked great at the doctor's today. She went ahead and scheduled the C-Section for January, and we're hoping little Emersyn will cooperate and STAY PUT until then! :) I am so relieved b/c I was REALLY stressin' w/ Christmas and the baby!!! Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers! Continue to remember us...we NEED them! :)

Catching up...

Well, I haven't blogged in a week!!!! I guess the holidays had me BUSY! So, let's see what you missed in the exciting life of ME! :)
Hmmm....I'll start w/ Thanksgiving. I had a pretty miserable day. I was feeling awful and then I had to go to Steven's parents house, then my grandma's and FINALLY to my mom's house. We played cards at my moms and had a blast. It was nice to just go hang out with her. We always do stuff together but we never just sit around and relax together!
Friday, I woke up early for the Black Friday Sale. I needed a Christmas tree and Wal*Mart advertised theirs for $30. I rushed around and got there at about 7. (Yes, that's rushing, considering that I usually roll out of bed around 9:30-10ish!) I bought a tree and all the decorations, ornarments, etc. My mom bought a LOT of stuff! She bought Natali a Barbie car, Steven a new ShopVac, and me a few items! After shopping, I was worn out, so I came home and rested before putting up the tree! It turned out pretty good. I didn't want a BIG tree, so I stuck w/ teh tall skinny one! LOL

Natali LOVES the ornarments. She just keeps playing with them!

Friday night, we took my little brother, Jeremiah to Game Stop to buy a new game for his X Box 360. We went and ate some Chinese food (YUMMY!) and then came home and Steven and Jeremiah played XBox all night, while I put up my Christmas decorations. You can definitely say that it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here! :)

Saturday, we all slept in, considering the boys didn't go to bed until 4 am. DORKS! Then, me and my mom drove to Grove to do a little Christmas shopping. On the way over there, I started to feel sick and of course, puked, all down the side of her Yukon. LOL That's what she gets for driving crazy while there's a preggo in the car! :)
So, we had to go clean that up and since it was all over me, we had to find a change of clothes! :) THEN we went and did some serious Christmas shopping! I bought a lot of stuff for myself but mostly for Steven's mom. (I decided to decorate the wall in my bathroom w/ crosses, all kinds and shapes and they had a bunch of crosses at one of the stores I went to! I still need a few more, but it's starting to look better!)
After all the shopping, we ate lunch at my favorite little Mexican restaraunt. When we were driving home, my mom decided that she wanted to stop at a casino that is on the way. I've been to them, but have never gambled, so I wasn't too thrilled. I just figured I'd watch her. We got inside and she gave me $20 to play with. (She knows that I'm too cheap to put my money in! :) We played for almost 2 hours and I kept about $20 the whole time. I was getting really sick of all the smoke and was ready to leave. I sat down at this machine next to my mom and decided to put some money in while I waited for her. Well, next thing you know, the machine is RINGING, like crazy, and wouldn't stop! I won $255!!! I cashed out immediately and was ready to get the heck out of there! :) Well, my mom was still winning, so I still had to wait for her. I sat there and finally decided to put a $1 bill in. Guess what! I won another $59! I paid my mom back her $20 and we LEFT! She won about $30 more than she came in with! So....we both did pretty good! It was really fun, but I know that you usually don't win, so it's not really that appealing to me to go back...unless I'm gambling with someone else's moneY! LOL
Sunday, me and Steven went grocery shopping and INDULGED in everything we wanted! LOL Maybe winning extra money isn't such a good thing! Just kidding! I am planning on going shopping with my mom after my doctor's appointment on Thursday to COMPLETE my Christmas shopping with the extra money! (hopefully!)
So...I guess I've been pretty darn busy doing NOTHING at all! Today, I am gonna spend the day sewing and running to the Post Office. Thats always fun! :)
Here is a random picture! :) Last night, me and Natali were goofing off taking pictures and we all put our hands on the baby. I love how it turned out, stretch marks and all! :)

Thanksgiving Schmanksgiving....

Oh, the holidays. Why are they so stressful? I usually don't get stressed, but with so much going on this year, it was inevitable. I am not having any dinners, parties or get togethers and I am STILL stressed. What the heck?

Okay, so I got the Wal*Mart Black Friday Sale ad yesterday and they have a prelit Christmas tree for $30!!! I almost bought one the other day for $150! Now, I am gonna have to get my lazy butt up early so I can go get me one before they sell out! Oh, and I plan on grabbing DH a new Shop Vac while they're on sale. That'll be one of his Christmas presents. We will probably get Natali a bike then, too. She convinced her dad that she needs a new one, even though she got one last Christmas and has ridden it, MAYBE 10 times all year. But this one has training wheels, so she just has to have it.

Oh, another big dent in my shopping list: This morning, I recieved Kim's newsletter from YCMT and realized that the reversible headbands will be PERFECT for Steven's oldest neice. I will probably make her 5 or 6. They are so easy and she will just love them. So, I'm getting closer to being able to mark her off of my list! :) HOORAY!

That's about all for now! :) I have about 7 customs to get finished this week, so we'll see how that goes! I'm gonna be busy busy! And, I cannot wait to break out my Christmas decorations! WHOO HOO!!! Love me some decoratin'!

Oh, I almost forgot...Lisa got a blog, too! That makes 3 of us Chatty Chicks out here in the bloggin' world! FUN FUN! You can check out her blog here: http://baileyspeekabooboutique.blogspot.com/

Don't forget to exchange links with her! :)

A day away...

Today, we took a much needed road trip, just the 3 of us. It was so nice to get away from everyday life. Steven had to take a test for the Insurance that he is starting to sell and so me and Natali decided to tag along.

We dropped him off at the school and did a little shopping in the nearby strip malls.

We went to pick him up and headed for Lamberts. If you aren't farmiliar w/ MO, then you have probably never heard of it.

The wall next to our booth...so fun!
It's a restaraunt where they seat you in these huge booths and they have waiters/waitresses walking around with big pots of "sides." They have fried okra, black eyed peas, and THE best fried taters! They just dip them out of their buckets and onto your plate! YUMMY! Then, they have a guy pushing a rolling cart full of scrumptious rolls, yelling "Hot Rolls...get your hot rolls!" and he walks down the middle aisle in the restaraunt and THROWS you a roll!!!! They are SO delicious and they have sorgam and molases or honey to go with them! The atmosphere is just so much fun! Natali had a blast and didn't eat anything except her cottage cheese and 3 rolls! LOL
Natali in her rain coat...and no, it wasn't raining today! LOL

After lunch, we headed back into town to the Bass Pro Shop's new museum. It was absolutely so much fun! They had ALL kinds of neat stuff. I am not into nature stuff AT ALL, but Steven and Natali love nature, animals, plants and of course....aquariums!!!

They had SO many neat things to do and see! Natali loved the huge stuffed animals!

And of course, the HUGE saltwater fish tanks were Steven's favorites!

We spent the whole day walking around and having so much fun! (Well, I sat down A LOT b/c I am just feeling so darn exhausted these days!)
Steven and Natali in the rope jungle...LOL

Natali in a gigantic turtle shell
It was SO SO SO SO SO nice to just get away and spend the day with just the 3 of us. I am really glad we had a chance to do so before Emersyn makes her big arrival!

Me and Natali...yes, I am fat and miserable! LOL

Natali, Steven and a deer...I think she is scared! LOL

Sitting on the big snake

And the best part of the day is that Steven passed his Insurance test! :)

Cough cough....

We are all sicker than a dog around here. We have the awful cough, and snotty noses. Steven went to work today, but he wasn't feeling good. Me and Natali have been lying around the house doing NOTHING for the last few days. I am so sick of being trapped in the house w/ her! LOL I am taking her to the dr. this afternoon, so I will get to leave teh dungeon for a while! LOL
Maybe I'll actually get some sewing done...but probably not! :)

To buy or not to buy....

Christmas shopping. Have you started? I have
S...L...O...W...L...Y
started to dwindle my list away. I have been getting a few things each week and am finally starting to see the list getting smaller! FINALLY! :)
My biggest problem is buying for the kids. I know they don't really enjoy getting clothes, but the toys are all just too darn risky this year. Should I go ahead and chance having the gifts recalled or just find something else they would enjoy?
My next biggest gift problem is for the moms. Both Steven's mom and my mom have EVERYTHING and if they do want something, they simply go buy it themselves. I was thinking of something personalized, but haven't came across anything that just screams "BUY ME!!!" yet. If you have any good suggestions, PLEASE help! :)
So....with 45 days until Christmas, I guess I had better just get my booty in gear! :)

Love it or Hate it???

I just stumbled upon this adorable carseat cover while browsing FeeBay. I have been wanting to buy one but can't justify spending $100 on it when 1.) I don't NEED it

2.) I could make it myself
But...this one is actually affordable. Hopefully it doesn't get bid out of my price range! :)
I just know Steven is going to hate the fabric, but I love it. So, do you think it's too busy or will it be adorable???
